During these years football history has attracted many talents, charismatic figures and no, who have made a great contribution to the full development of this sport: passing from Maradona to Messi today, by Rogerio Ceni mad at the impassable wall Neuer. These and other great names have written the history of the clubs they played, but thanks to whom? Where have they been developed? We are presenting some of the world's largest sports academies that have the merits of the birth, in the sporting sense, of some of the greatest players played in the last century.

Southampton Academy

The Saints Academy philosophy is: "Our academic vision is to create a first team, where year after year, 50% come from the Academy, who will be world class players in the field, and outside of it, skilled to face pressure, especially in European competitions. "In the Southampton training center, Saints Soccer School, have cast the" first steps "of players such as Alan Shearer, Gareth Bale, Theo Walcott, Alex Chamberlain, Adam Lallana and more recently no less important, "Le God" Matthew Le Tissier (443 matches and 162 goals)

Reserves and Academy of Lyon Olympique

Appreciated in recent years as "The Best Academy in the Past 10 Years", OL has the merit of growth and maturity of players such as Karim Benzema, Hatem Ben Arfa, Ludovic Giuly, Alexandre Lacazette, Nabil Fekir, Frédéric Kanouté.

La Fàbrica (Real Madrid)

Near Madrid, just in the urban area of Valdebebas, in 2005, Ciudad Real Madrid was inaugurated, costing about 100m euros, thus becoming the Galacticos sports center, from the first team to the kids. Before the inauguration, in recent years, La Fàbrica of Real has produced many talented youngsters: In the 80s Real Madrid won La Liga five times in a row, twice in the UEFA Cup (now Europa League) and scored 3 times in the Champions League semi- League, all of these achievements with a group of players coming mainly from Fábrica. Players such as Iker Casillas, Santiago Canizares, Josè Maria Gutiérrez (Guti), Juan Mata, Josè Maria Callejon, Samuel Eto'o and Emilio Butragueño.

Atletico Madrid Academy

The Atletico Madrid Academy's motto is "The academy is the place where dreams arise". Over the years we have witnessed Fernando Torres's dreams, then goalkeeper David de Gea and, later, the captain of Madrid, Raul, and Gabriel Fernández (Gabi), Jorge Koke and Alvaro Morata's recent years.

Manchester United Academy

Although recent years have not been positive, with the exception of the Europa League victory in 2017, Manchester United's academy has produced talented talent, where it is worth mentioning David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Darren Fletcher, Captain historic Ryan Giggs and current player Marcus Rashford.

Milan Academy

The glorious Italian club, the absolute champion in Europe, but not only so, has been the culmination of success in the 80's and 90's, when the academy was not "so bad" either. He has produced talents such as Paolo Maldini and Franco Baresi, first of all, then Billy Costacurtan, Demetrio Albertini. In recent years, they may be delighted with the work done with Donnarumman, who in perspective is seen as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, but with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang they have mistaken: after they have grown up but have allowed him to leave.

The Sporting Academy

In Portugal it will always be remembered as the academy that has been able to reveal a talent like Cristiano Ronaldo. But maybe not everyone knows that for years, in Portugal, a colossal job is done by doing the most to discover such talents. Let us mention Luis Figon, Ricardo Quaresman, Luis Carlos "Nani", Simao Sabrosan and Joao Moutinhon.

Ajax Academy

It is well known that the Dutch Academy is one of the most famous academies in the world, an example for all clubs. Also known for the ten-year experience that the club has in caring for talents, starting from education and finishing to football. Out of this "nursery" have come people like Johan Cruyff, Marko van Basten, Denis Bergkamp, Clarence Seedorf, Wesley Sneijder, Edgar Davids and Patrick Kluivert: players, these, one better than the other.

La Masia (Barcelona)

Built in 1702 near the Camp Nou, it was renovated in 1979 with the intention of hosting new players who have been selected to adapt to a particular style of the game, which in recent years is one of the main football sticks modern: Tiki-Taka. Then again, in June 2011, another Masia 6,000 square meters was built at Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. What is known for sure is that among those refurbished walls have passed champions like Lionel Messi, first of all, then Xavi, Carles Puyol, Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta and Gerard Piqué.
