One of the problems that must be corrected by the Indonesian Under-23 national team when facing the United Arab Emirates in the last 16 of the 2018 Asian Games is how to maintain emotions.

Currently there are six players who have received warning cards, the majority are core players. Andritany Ardhyasa was shown a yellow card while playing Taiwan, while Saddil Ramdani received a yellow card in the match against Palestine.

When against Hong Kong in the last group stage match on Monday (08/20/2018), there were four players who received four yellow cards, namely Febri Hariyadi, Hansamu Yama Pranata, Stefano Lilipaly, and I Putu Gede Juni Antara.

Andritany, Saddil, Febri, Hansamu and Putu Gede got yellow cards for violating the opposing players. While Lilipaly received the card after protesting the referee's decision.

Indonesian National Team coach, Luis Milla acknowledged that the disciplinary problems of the Indonesian U-23 national team players were individual responsibility because he could not control the referee's decision.

Milla still felt quite calm because there were no players who got two yellow cards so they were still free to choose a starter in the match against the United Arab Emirates in the round of 16.
