Barcelona are without former manager Kike but both parties are still tied to a contract that is governed by Spanish league football management.
Ronald Koeman was hired last month to take over as the new manager of Barcelona but reports have it that Barcelona are yet to finalize the contract between them and Koeman as the former manager is still under his contract with Barcelona due to the fact that Barcelona are yet to pay him off after sacking him.
Koeman might not be featuring in Barcelona's LaLiga opening games if Barcelona fails to pay Kike off and terminate his contract with due legal process.
The same goes for Koeman as he must be registered legally under the Spanish league federation before he can be seen as Barcelona's official manager.
