Getting back on winning ways has been the target for the Blues for over a couple of weeks. Chelsea travelled to Hull to face Hull City at the KCOM Stadium for the round of 16 FA Cup tie.

Chelsea with all to lose started on fire against a timid Hull side and with no hesitation goal their first goal through Batshuayi M in the opening 6th minute of the game.

Hull decided to maintain the scoreline by defending deep against Chelsea and hoping for chances for counterattacks.

The threats from Chelsea was well contained by Hull City to keep the scoreline at 1-0 until the end of the first half.

Into the second half, Hull decided to push a little bit forward to see if they can get an equalizer, instead, they got punished with another goal by Chelsea on the 64th minute, courtesy of Tomori who was assisted by Barkley.

Chelsea began to look more dangerous on the attack up until last quarter of the game before Hull were able to start pushing for a way to come back into the game.

Once again, Chelsea's plague of not keeping clean sheet struck again as they conceded a goal from a set-piece courtesy of Grosicki K on the 78th minute.

Hull began to push more in order to get an equalizer which they almost got but almost doesn't kill a bird.

1-2 the score remains and Chelsea advanced into the next round of the Emirates FA Cup.
