This is the Manchester derby for the English Carabao Cup semifinals and it is all went down at the Old Trafford.

The red part of Manchester welcomed the Sky blue part of Manchester to the Old Trafford for the Carabao Cup semifinals and both teams went straight in getting the beat of each other.

The visitors Manchester City with no time to waste dominated the field of play at Old Trafford, therefore forcing Manchester United to play out of plan. Manchester United's failure to strike a balance on the field of play after conceding an early goal led to another dominance by Manchester City which was worked into another goal courtesy of Mahrez on the 33rd minute.

The goals won't stop coming as City grabbed another shortly after Mahrez's goal on the 39th minutes courtesy of an own goal by Pereira.

An unfortunate night it turned out to be for Manchester United as were 3 goals down in the first half.

The second half began with Manchester United running after a way back into the game which seemed lost but this is football, anything can happen.

The second half started with energy and adrenaline from United and Manchester City are trying to contain Manchester United's threats in order to kill the game off.

Rodri with a mistake on the 70th minute got Manchester United a goal through Rashford who didn't think twice of what to do with the ball.

Manchester United felt a bit relieved with the hope of getting the second and the third to level up with Manchester city but all hope was shattered after both teams played out the remaining of the 90min with 1-3 and Manchester City qualified into the next round of the Carabao Cup.
