Burnley looked to continue their impressive run of the English Premier League against Manchester United in the Emirates FA Cup against Norwich. An even competitor but with less charisma after a series of defeats.

Judging by their impressive play against Manchester United at the Theatre of dreams, Burnley were seen as the favourite of this tie.

Into the game, Norwich were frustrated by the early strategies implemented by Burnley, which saw them conceding fouls upon fouls that handed then two yellow cards in fragile but important positions.

The game balanced up and it was a barren first half for both teams.

Eight minutes into the second half on the 53rd minute, Norwich took the lead through Hanley G, who was assisted by Vrancic and in a few minutes later got another on the 57th minute through Drmic J.

Hull were caught off-guard to have conceded 2 quick goals which forced an emergency change of approach.

Pushing to get back into the game seemed futile but they were able to get one back on the 72nd minute courtesy of Pieters E.

The scoreline was maintained until the end of the game as Norwich sat deep to defend all through. Norwich advanced into the next round of the Emirates FA Cup.
