The international footballing activities took off yesterday and excitements were drawn on the faces of folks out there as they sat back to see their beautiful countries taking on other countries for a contest of superiority, qualification and rankings.

Last World Cup winners France entertained Finland at the Stade de France in Paris. The matchup as speculated by people should be an easy take for France judging by their dominance and relented players in the France national team.
With all that has been said, reverse became the case in this matchup.

Finland has little of the ball while France dominates but Finland took the lead in the 28th minute of the game when they got their first shot on target and it was thanks to a superb finish by Foros who was assisted by Karljalainen.

Three minutes later on the 31st minute, Finland struck again with their second shot on target and this was courtesy of Valakari

France tried as much as they can to get at least a goal back before the end of the first half but all efforts couldn't count.
The first 45 minutes ended with Finland lead by 2 goals to nothing.

Into the second half, France came knocking for goals and threw all they can to get back into the game but all their effort were not enough to crack Finland who were solid at the back and also Finland's goalkeeper was on top of his game to keep denying France a way through.

The scoreline remained 2 nil to Finland until the end of 90 minutes and Finland smiled away from France with a well-deserved victory.
