It’s a very good day for all Arsenal supporters as Unai Emery finally got relieved as Arsenal head coach. Arsenal took so long to sack him but I knew it will surely come before December. I am not a fan of Emery and I criticized him even during his unbeaten run. No tactics, No formation, No first eleven, just the players running around like headless chicken.
You are playing Frankfurt in a match you need a win to reduce the pressure on you and you still had the gut to put the likes of Ozil, Lacazette, Pepe, Torreira on bench. It’s crazy. The fans are not happy, you are not delivering result, you should know that every match count and you should take it like a final match.
I already predicted that he won’t win any match until he get sacked. Emery is just getting worse every day and you start to wonder if he truly knows what he is doing. I am so happy he is finally gone and hopefully the club can get someone to take the club forward.
Ljunberg will act as interim coach for now and who knows the Swedish might turn out good for Arsenal. The delay in sacking Emery cost us Luis Enrique. I would have love the Spaniard at Emirates. He knows his onions and will definitely improve the gunners. I don’t know if he can combine country and club football together but I would have really loved him. Another manager that would do well at Arsenal is Massimiliano Allegri. The Italian is one coach I admire too and he is tactical with good defensive reputation. He was the top candidate for the post after Wenger left but only God knows what happened and Arsenal went to bring Unai Emery the Ebening Manager.
Allegri will definitely improve our defense and help us compete for trophies. He has competed with the best out there and knows what it feels like to win. We need a Coach of the highest caliber not some second class coach. He is also a long term option considering he is just 52 years of age.
Other linked coaches are Arteta, Viera, and recently sacked Pochettino.
I wish Unai Emery the best in the future. You are not of Arsenal quality. Good Ebening and Good Bye Emery.
