Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester United are all vying for the 3rd and 4th position in the league that would give them an automatic UCL qualification. With the league coming to an end, the battle is getting tougher.

Tottenham

  • Tottenham vs Westham

Tottenham are in third position with 70 points and three points ahead of Chelsea fourth. They are in pole position to qualify for the UCL. Though they are in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, their remaining fixtures doesn't look to be one tough one. At home in two of the three remaining fixtures, they have the simplest fixtures. the absence of Harry Kane would not be felt much considering the inform Heung Min Son. Tottenham will cement their number three position with ease come may 12.

Chelsea

Chelsea are currently fourth one point ahead of London rivals Arsenal. Their season has gone down the drain after a good start. Chelsea now fight for the top four and also the Europa League. Winning the Europa League will guarantee them safe passage into the Champions League. However, putting all eggs into a basket is not advisable. Anything can happen. Chelsea we have to face a poor Manchester United side and a rejuvenated Leicester side all away. They have been inconsistent while playing on the road recently. I still Believe Chelsea have what it takes to cement the fourth position.

Arsenal

The Gunners had a chance to go third at the Emirates against Crystal Palace, unfortunately they lost. Now they have to do it the hard way. 2 away matches out of 3. Arsenal have been poor in away matches this season and showed it against the Wolves. Unless Emery finds a solution to the poor away record, Arsenal will finish fifth. The Europa League is likely to provide an extra distraction in their quest for top four. As it is now, Arsenal can only make fifth in the league.

Manchester United

There is a saying that if Barcelona beat you, you go on a losing streak. I think this is the same for the Red Devils. The huge applause that followed Solskjaer early string of results has died down. Unlike Arsenal, Tottenham, and Chelsea who can still make the UCL via other means. Manchester United are out of all competitors and that includes the race for top four.
