Mikel Arteta is back in the Arsenal fold and I am happy. He was a captain during his playing days with Arsenal and a great Central Midfielder too. He is back in Arsenal and as the head coach. I don’t know if he’s going to be successful or not but I wish him the best.

He was the favourite to replace Wenger then until Arsenal did a U-turn to employ Unai Emery. I think this is blessing in disguise as he would have learnt a thing or two with Guardiola. I watched quite a number of Manchester city matches and you will agree that he is not a mute Assistant Coach. You see Pep Guardiola always talking to him and even listening to him. It shows that he has something in his brain.

The only thing Arsenal fans need to do is give him the support he need. It is going to be a long walk but I believe in him. He is untested at this level and taking the Arsenal job shows he has the balls. We must all throw our weight behind him and make sure he succeed.

Qualifying for the Uefa Champions League either by winning the Europa League or making top four should be the priority now. It is a very tough call for the gunners to make the top 4 but can make adjustments by winning the Europa League. They made the Semi Finals under Wenger before losing to A.madrid and made the final under Unai Emery before losing to rivals Chelsea. They will want to do better this time by winning it and see them make the Champions League after years away from the prestigious competition.

Arteta is unlikely to be available for Arsenal clash against Everton but will definitely watch from the stands. That will give him a first-hand information of what is going on with the gunners and hopefully he get some solutions before the season ends.

It’s a good time to be a gunners. Let’s get the gun firing again and reclaim our lost glory.
