The Carabao cup third round saw some heavyweights fail to qualify for the fourth round. Tottenham lost on penalties to League 2 side Colchester while Oxford defeated Westham.

The fourth round draw sees holders Manchester City face Southampton, Everton face Watford, Aston Villa face Wolverhampton Wanderers, Burton face Leicester, Crawley face Colchester, Chelsea face Manchester united, Oxford face Sunderland, and Liverpool face Arsenal.

Two matches out of these fixtures promise to be mouthwatering.

Chelsea face Manchester United at Stamford Bridge in what promise to be an exciting match.

Frank Lampard now has the opportunity to revenge the 4-0 defeat. They have been better than Manchester united so far and he will be confident of unleashing his youngsters on the Manchester united side. Solskjaer has not been convincing so far and they required penalties to see off Rochdale. It’s so bad for them this season. Their frontline is misfiring and they don't have the quality backup.

They have listened to criticisms from ex players and sold some of the supposed poor players. They are paying the price now and will continue paying it till atleast January when they will have the chance to sign 1 or 2 players.

Lampard has impressed in his little time at Chelsea as the youngsters have really turned up. The likes of Tomori, Abraham, Mount have been superb for Chelsea this season and you can bank on them to destroy Manchester united this time around. The match promise to be a great one.

Arsenal face Liverpool yet again. Arsenal have sealed a trip to Anfield in the EFL fourth round of fixtures. The last time they won there was in 2012 when the likes of Agger, Skrtel, Borini were regulars. This shows you that history is clearly against the Gunners.

Head coach Emery will be thinking of the best tactics to defeat Liverpool. He will hope that Liverpool tough fixtures in October will make Klopp rest some first team players which might just hand Arsenal a crucial victory.

The match is definitely going to live up to expectations as you can be sure of goals in that match. Arsenal were clear underdogs in their league meeting and could only get 1 consolation goal.
