The EPL currently have the best managers out there. The likes of Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti, and Jurgen Klopp who all have won atleast a Uefa Champions League trophy all manage in the EPL. This is a good thing for any league because it means more popularity and more money for the league and players. Everyone want to watch the best managers coaching the teams.

Take a look at how Ancelotti has transformed Everton. Dominic Calvert Lewin is now a goal scorer and would have gotten the winner against Manchester united if not for VAR. That is the effect of a world class Manager.

You would think that the influx of these managers will mean a tougher league but that is not the case. Liverpool are likely to win the league in March and currently lead 2nd placed Manchester City by 22 points. This is very bad for the league.

I do say that this is not a Liverpool Masterclass but a dearth of quality in the league. Last season Liverpool are stronger than this one. The opposing teams just concede defeat before playing them this season and that’s all. Leicester have been losing games week after week and are still in top four with 8 points separating them and 5th. That shows everything that is wrong in the league. It is bad and may hurt the chance of the EPL teams performing well in this season Uefa Champions League.

Manchester City are one solid team that would have given Liverpool a tough fight if not for injury concerns. Laporte and Leroy Sane injury really affected them this season. The league quality is so poor at the moment and I fear only Manchester City might qualify for the UCL quarter finals.

Chelsea UCL Campaign is effectively over while Liverpool are hoping on their Anfield fans to roar them through. They need to be reminded that Atletico Madrid at their defensive best can only be undone by Cristiano Ronaldo. They don’t have a Ronaldo at the moment.

Tottenham still have a chance but the unavailability of their frontline is something else. This season league is shit already and I can’t wait for next season with the hope of something good to come out of it.
