The EFL cup is an opportunity for a club young players to display their abilities. It is a chance for them to prove to the coach that they can challenge for the first team.

Emery started a number of young players in the win against Nottingham forest. The likes of Rowe, Willock, Nelson, and Martinelli all started.

It was a mixture of young players and more experienced players. It was the young players that impressed as Arsenal defeated Nottingham by 5 goals to nothing. It is something that any coach will be proud of.

This mean that the club have a bright future. Martinelli announced himself with two good goals. He showed that he is a beats in front of goal. He will provide quality backup for Aubameyang and Lacazette. Bukayo Saka was great too. His movements remind me of Leroy Sane. Nelson also played well. Willock looks to be Arsenal replacement for Aaron Ramsey. He is capable of playing the box-box role and at the same time play as a central midfielder.

The match showed that the young players can perform better when used together with the established first team players. You can rotate and start them when playing smaller teams at home.

Imagine a starting eleven of Leno Bellerin Sokratis holding Tierney willock Torreira Guendouzi saka Aubameyang and Rowe.

That lineup will see off lot of smaller teams in the EPL. This mean that you can afford to rest the top players. You can keep them fresh for tougher oppositions.

Martinelli can be subbed in for Aubameyang in some matches. His full debut shows that he has an eye for goal. That's one very good thing. When a striker is hungry for goal, he will surely hustle hard to get the goals and will surely get it.

It's good news for Arsenal. They have the future now.
