It's the international break again and it seems this break will be an interesting one.

The Epl Game week 12 ended with Liverpool taking on Manchester city in a top of the table clash.

Liverpool won the game 3-1 but not without incidents. VAR decided to overlook some of the goals and the clash between Joe Gomez and Raheem Sterling.

Sterling had a fine game with his direct running creating problems for Arnold. Aguero unusual profligacy denied him couple of assists. With the match coming to an end, Joe Gomez was brought in to provide extra cover in the right back position. Sterling squared up to Joe Gomez and they had to be separated.

Many thought that was the end but it's not. The fight spilled over to the national team with Sterling allegedly grabbing Joe Gomez neck at the team canteen. It's really crazy. Sterling has been dropped for the Montenegro game and could come back for the match against Kosovo.

Raheem Sterling is the most in form England player right now and his absence will be felt in the national team. It's a good decision by the FA though.

The issue shows how crunch league matches can have a huge effect on national team players.

The El Classico is one good example. Mourinho had to devise some devilish tactics to stop hot Barcelona then. Kicking Messi, Iniesta, Xavi and the likes to get a decent result. I now wonder how Vincente Del Bosque handles the national team affair. How will Sergio Ramos feel lining up with Pique, Alba, and Puyol or Xabi Alonso with Xavi, Busquet, and Iniesta.

Kudos to Del Bosque for handling any fallout from the El Classico well. I think the FA should learn from him to avoid future occurrence.
