Smashing Dugarry: "Barcelona is a clown club"

Former French international did not spare the former club after the elimination of the King's Cup.

Barcelona is going through one of the most delicate moments of the past, following a week to forget, which started with the words exchange between Éric Abidal and Lionel Messi, and ended with the elimination of the King's Cup.

And, minutes after Thursday's 0-1 loss to Athletic Bilbao, former French international Christophe Dugarry had harsh criticism against the club he represented in 1997.

"It's a clown club. They do everything the other way around. I have a feeling they don't have a project," the ex-striker began, saying in statements made on the French television station RMC Sport.

"Barcelona have many problems, and the worst thing is that they have a bad image. In a club of this category, there are too many people who do not have the elegance and class they should have. It is a classless club," he concluded.
