SEVILLA DEBUT: Far from a dream one for Anthony Martial
Manchester United loanee Anthony Martial did not exactly have the best of debut with Spanish side Sevilla. The French midfielder exited the game with about 15 minutes left to play. For all the time he was in the game, Martial looked rusted. His fallout with Manchester United manager Ralf Ragnick had taken a toll on his fitness levels. Asides from Martial, the overall performance of the Sevilla side left so much to be desired. They created chances but they all failed to convert them. Even getting a penalty in the final minutes which was still not converted. Martial looks forward Having come to the recognition that the debut was one to forget for Anthony Martial, the Frenchman would endeavour to put his art together come the next game. It is easy to say that Martial has not hit the expected height ever since his move from Monaco. However, considering he has been out of first-team action for a while it would be wrong to criticise his current form. Martial gets something to cheer about A lack of game time was the major reason why Martial left Manchester United. Considering he was given a starting debut a few weeks after his arrival is a good sign. The Frenchman can hope to build on that. Conclusion Martial's overall abilities have never been in doubt.
