Newcastle United have today been linked with 23 year-old American winger and forward Christian Pulisic, whose Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel reportedly "doesn't trust him" and would be open to letting him move to The Magpies, who are seeking attacking reinforcements to bolster their goal-scoring threat before the transfer window shuts. The former Borussia Dortmund man who has won The Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup, two FA Cups in a 4-year spell at Stamford Bridge scoring 25 goals in 116 total appearances for The Blues including an impressive 19 goals in 75 Premier League games would add a versatile attacking threat to Newcastle. With The World Cup just a few months away, its important for Pulisic to be playing as much regular first team football as possible to maintain his match sharpness going into the tournament in Qatar in November and December and although further have suggested Newcastle could be interested in a number of Chelsea fringe men, sources close to Eddie Howe indicate that Pulisic in the one that he is most interested in.
