Liverpool request to postpone the semifinals between Arsenal.
Following recent reports today at the AXA training grounds, there was some increase in the covid 19 cases which has led Liverpool to ask the EFL to postpone the game between then and Arsenal on Thursday. So following the request from the Anfield club, it is believed that the English FA is considering their plea to postpone the game between then and Arsenal on Thursday if everything goes on the plan. Some of the members who are not affected by the covid 19 cases after the hearing of the third outbreak of the covid today, decided to cancel the training today at the AXA training ground. And the game is expected to be on Thursday by 7:45 which will be a tough one for both teams. According to am EFL spokesman, he has confirmed that Liverpool has informed them to postpone the game between then and Arsenal due to increasing in Covid 19 cases. And additionally, before they could guarantee then of the postponement of the game, the EFL rules should be followed and that will help make the right decision. In a statement regarding what Liverpool said, they have said that the game has been rescheduled and as such the training center at the AXA was canceled today. So with that in mind, Liverpool has informed the fans that the game has been canceled so that they should be aware of the new time before they could do anything, and with that being known it is reasonable enough to make this decision so that they won't be affected much by this incident.
