I'M 'TIRED' OF MESSI, WHO IS HE EVEN?
https://media.tenor.com/images/15849c8f487fb64563ddac1d59b6a4c3/tenor.gif Well, I got to know him in 2005, at the U-20 World Cup,called the FIFA World Youth Championship. He starred brightly for his country Argentina. He wasn't the stand out star in the whole competition though, that belonged to the elegant midfield maestro of Nigeria, Mikel Obi. It so happened that Argentina and Nigeria got to the final and he won a penalty- a dubious one- and that gave Argentina the victory and unfairly Mikel was chosen as the 2nd best player in the tournament and he took top honours. His name is Lionel Andrés Messi, popularly called Leo Messi, born June 24, 1987 in Rosario, Argentina. Messi started playing football as a young boy as is normal in his homeland and by the age of 8 he joined the youth team of a big top division club in his place of birth– Newell's Old Boys. Here he began to showcase his unique God-given talent that began to attract big clubs in Europe. It was Barcelona who succeeded in wooing him and the age of 13, Messi and his family moved to Barcelona, and he began his meteoric rise to stardom playing for FC Barcelona’s under-14 team. He didn't fail and duly scored 21 goals in 14 games for this team. Quickly he kept being promoted through the ranks at Barca that at a tender age of 16 he was given an unofficial appearance for Barcelona in a friendly. Things got more official now with his quality irresistible at his young age. Thus, in the 2004/05 season, became the youngest official player and goal scorer in the Spanish highest league(the La Liga). He was 17years then. He was(and still is) naturally left-footed,known for his balance, quick and intelligent movement with our without the ball, cute ball control and his versatility across the attack. He has never looked back since then becoming increasingly important for Barca and his country, winning several League titles,Champions leagues,Club world cups,age-grade laurels and so on. He has won the Copa America(South American continental competition) as captain of Argentina too. Only this year he was awarded the Balon D'or trophy for 2021,his eight,a record no other player has. https://media.tenor.com/images/2ab3c06c282dcd1d30e2eda797cfcb8e/tenor.gif These days he is 34 years old and adjusting to a whole new environment in France with PSG,he joined from Barca only this summer. Standing at just 5 feet 7 inches it is amazing what he does with ball and that happens to be the focus of this post. How does he do his thing? What's so special about him? Or is he over-hyped? Let me clear the last question, he is not over-hyped please. The question isn't meant to be there even, with all due respect to Messi. Now looking at him on the pitch surficially, he seems ordinary to lots of people. That's the beauty and that's why a lot of folks find it hard to place a finger on his difference– it is not so obvious and the average person wants to stay with what is obvious, what is fancy or catchy. Messi is not the flashy type with fancy footwork on the field– give that to the Okochas, the Robinhos, the Ronaldinho or the Neymars– yet he's more effective than them all in beating players, waltzing through intending tackles. He absolutely does it better than them all. His most lethal weapon is his brain, (not even his sweet left foot) —I call it "brain power". He is able to process situations and execute his intentions, with precision, "spontaneously". You see, the human eye can blink before the brain thinks it, that's an instinctive reaction. Messi is so fast in his thought process, that one wrongly thinks he's being spontaneous or instinctive. Oh no,he thought everything through with speeds that are not normal. It is the speed of thought that sets Messi apart from the rest. A friend, boss of mine submits concerning this trait of Messi: "Unfortunately, more [than] 80% footballers we watch have little of this trait" Furthermore, let me explain using videoing terminologies. What most players view as fast motion or even normal motion, is slow or very slow motion in Messi's brain. So he can easily edit,crop,adjust,re-size,etc because, it's all slow in his mind. The result becomes a wonder to fellow players and onlookers because they think it's impossible to come up with something new at such a high speed on in a tight space. That is why Lewandowski of Bayern Munich rightly said about Messi after he won this year's Balon D'or, that Messi makes everything look easy. The secret remains the speed of thought, the speed of processing information, he thinks ahead of the opposition. No footballing school can teach you this exceptionally quality of his. It's a unique gifting of God on him. Brain power to outrageous awe-inspiring levels. https://media.tenor.com/images/493ebcc007e8b0f1b7b335653c1d8baa/tenor.gif Cheers

A Responsible Man Always Finds Time For His Family
Source With each sunrise, man is inundated with life tasks he has to accomplish or professional challenges he needs to overcome. While he may overcome some of these hurdles, he may fail at others. However, he deserves to fall back to a little comfort, regain himself and move on. We only have to live once, and if we neglect our happiness and that of those around us in our quest to gain the whole world, then we're the worst losers. In the course of all man's aspirations, he is also burdened with the responsibility of protecting his love ones, his investments or profession and being there for his family when they need him around. Fact is, no matter how busy we think we are, we must always find time for those we care about, if we really care about them as we profess. There is always this aura of comfort and relaxation that comes with their presence, a unique one we can't find elsewhere in the world. It has no duplicate and it's either we share this moment with them or we are not. “Nothing is better than going home to family and eating good food and relaxing.” –Irina Shayk Just like a young man trying to win the love of his new found maiden. He is always almost free when the maiden demands for his presence. He tells her "it's late and 'am currently in the office, but don't worry, 'am on my way." Time to share with love ones never runs out. That's what Lionel Messi is currently doing with his family before heading back to Barcelona for the season. Messi, The Quintessential Husband, Dad and Professional Source The past months have presented the World Best Player with many challenges, ranging from Champions League elimination to Copa America disappointments. He gave it all his best but the results were below his expectations. The Copa America has come and gone again without the Barcelona captain lifting a major silverware with the Argentine National team. Though Argentina settled for a third place but not without Messi picking a red card after he had a scuffle with Medel in their third place encounter. Instead of being down and partying around with courtesans in Europe or South America, he chooses to head back home and spend lasting moments with his family. He wouldn't want to be linked to any rape saga like other sports celebrities, so he avoids to an extent such places that could drag his family name to the mud. The 32 year old Dad of Three Sons is currently making the best of moments out of his vacation with his family before going back to Spain. Media outlets have it that the Five Times Ballon d'Or winner is currently enjoying himself with his childhood friend, who later became his wife Antonella Roccuzzor. The Argentine talisman knows he needs these moments with his wife and kids, and taking advantage of this fleeting holiday to cool off the stress in their company is commendable. Messi and his family have been spotted in a luxury Caribbean villa in Antigua. His wife posted his picture on her Instagram page where Messi was clutching corona on the beach with a caption "relax." With the Preseason almost starting for the Catalan club, the Barcelona captain is expected to travel back to Camp Nou and join the team in preparation. However, he is my MVP for choosing to spend any little moment of his with his family. That's how you know a responsible husband and Dad. No matter how highly place we are, we should always remember that family is of Paramount importance.
