Westham pushing for Mariano deal
West Ham have changed a lot on their striker performance for many years, and yet another striker looks set to be added to the squad in the upcoming transfer window. According to the media Defensa Central, West Ham are interested in Real Madrid's Mariano Diaz, who so far this season has only had 14 minutes for "Los Blancos". Rumor has it that Zinedine Zidane would like to loan Luka Jovic out and in addition sell Mariano in the coming window, as he still has confidence that Jovic will probably make an impact in the Spanish capital. Sebastien Haller has not convinced West Ham manager David Moyes yet and Michail Antonio is running into an injury once he delivers in earnest. With Mariano, the London club will have a moving striker who has previously delivered good play in Lyon before being sold back to Real Madrid, where he started his professional career a few years ago. Mariano is 27 years old, and scored 22 goals in 38 matches for Lyon in the 2017/18 season, which was due to Real Madrid bringing the striker back. In Real Madrid, however, it does not look like the striker from the Dominican Republic will get fixed playing time.
