A call from VAR room located on Far East!
Warning: This article is from my "beautiful result" series. It's total fiction and joke and I don't claim match between Barcelona and Celta was rigged. Some time has passed since my last article about activities of illegal Far East gambling syndicates, but this what I just saw was so funny that I was forced to write article about it! Game between Hansi Flick goal machine - Barcelona and Celta ended in beautiful result of 4:3! Let's describe what happen in this match! It started like most people expected. Catalan goal machine took a lead after great play and finishing of Ferran Torres in 12th minute. I started to tweet about Hansi Flick and his great coaching style and tactics when I notice suspicious thing. Last line of Barcelona was on center like Tottenham! Soon after very fast counter attack happen, offside trap has been avoided and Borja Iglesias scored equalizer! W. Szczęsny ran too far from goal line trying to cancel cross, but he failed and just confused his defender who couldn't do anything and ball came to Iglesias who scored at empty net! Nah that's one case, Barca is surely winning this I thought. Until half time we saw one more very fast counter attack of away side which ended in save of goalkeeper! It was save who is alive situation if you know what I mean. Second half stated and we started to see dangerous counter attacks again and Borja scored two more goals in 52' and 62' minutes. All 3 goals Barca conceded were mistakes of their players. On second goal Barcelona player missed entire ball around center allowing opponent to run alone on goal! Third goal was nothing else than clearance toward center where Iglesias took it and ran alone on goal again! I've seen such goals when Tottenham plays without Van de Ven and that triggered me to tweet "Mr. Flick Van de Ven is the solution". Mr. Flick then decided to put in heavy artillery on pitch. I mean Lamine Yamal came in. Two minute later Olmo scores for 2:3 and return of hope and just 4 minutes later Raphinha equalized to 3:3 after nice header which finished great cross of Lamine Yamal! Only then in 68. minute I realized I am watching "Malaysian thriller". Barca pressed hard, but couldn't score, away side made one dangerous counter attack, but their player was "in the game" and knew he shouldn't score and missed goal from 3 meters. Time were ticking fast for gentleman on Far East... Soon we entered into stoppage time. Referee added 8 minutes and around 95. Olmo got ball inside the box had contact with two opponents and felt on the ground. Referee didn't point to the spot, game continued for 2-3 minutes and gentleman from Far East became to nervous and referee received a call. It was call from VAR room obviously located on Far East. He got instruction to go in front of monitor and he did it and pointed to the spot! Raphinha scored for 4:3 and big celebration on stadium and on Far East. However stubborn referee didn't blow full time whistle after! I could feel screaming from Far East, entire crowd did whistle wanted this game to end, cameras were zooming him more and more, but he let game play extra 3 minutes. Fortunately no one corrupted this beautiful result and around 102. or 103. minute Barcelona goalkeeper jumped and hugged the ball and fell on the grass and ref finally ended the game! Hansi Flick ran toward Raphinha and gave him big hug. It would be interesting to trace originating point of that call to referee in 98. minute. :) LOL Remember this is pure fiction and imagination a part from "beautiful result" which happen today.

Lionel Messi at Inter Miami: A New Era in American Soccer
When Lionel Messi, arguably the greatest footballer of all time, announced his move to Inter Miami CF in June 2023, the sports world was stunned. After a glittering career in Europe, including legendary stints at Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, Messi chose Major League Soccer (MLS) as his next destination. His arrival has not only transformed Inter Miami but also elevated the profile of American soccer globally. The Messi Effect: On and Off the Pitch Since joining Inter Miami, Messi has brought his trademark magic to the field. His debut in July 2023 was nothing short of cinematic—a last-minute free-kick winner against Cruz Azul in the Leagues Cup. Fans at DRV PNK Stadium erupted, and social media buzzed with highlights of his effortless dribbling, pinpoint passes, and clutch goals. But Messi’s impact extends beyond statistics. Ticket sales, merchandise, and even MLS subscriptions have skyrocketed. According to reports, Inter Miami’s Instagram followers grew by millions overnight, and their matches now draw record-breaking viewership. The "Messi Effect" is real—suddenly, MLS is must-watch television. Tactical Brilliance and Leadership Under manager Tata Martino (who previously coached Messi at Barcelona and Argentina), Inter Miami has adopted a more possession-based style. Messi, playing as a false nine or attacking midfielder, orchestrates play with his vision and creativity. Young talents like Benjamin Cremaschi and veteran Sergio Busquets benefit from his guidance, creating a dynamic midfield. Despite his age (36 at the time of signing), Messi’s fitness and work rate remain elite. His ability to decide games in moments—like his brace against Atlanta United or his hat-trick in the Leagues Cup final—proves he’s still among the world’s best. Challenges and the Road Ahead While Messi’s start has been dreamlike, challenges persist. MLS’s physicality, travel demands, and playoff format test even the greatest. Injuries and squad depth could become factors as the season progresses. Yet, Messi’s mission is clear: to win trophies for Inter Miami and grow soccer in the U.S. With the 2024 Copa América and 2026 World Cup on the horizon, his presence could inspire a new generation of American players. Conclusion: A Legacy in the Making Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami chapter is more than a retirement tour—it’s a cultural shift. He’s not just raising the team’s level; he’s redefining MLS’s place in global football. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or a casual observer, watching Messi in pink and black is a historic opportunity. As he said upon arrival: "I’m here to compete, to win, and to enjoy this beautiful game."
