But as we all know the global pandemic COVID-19 affected almost every industry in the world, the sports industry is also heavily impacted results in loss of billions in revenue as many of the revenue streams are completely stopped. Here we're going to take a look at the highest value loss of player transfer value in the top-5 European Soccer Leagues due to Corona virus. source: statista 5) Paris Saint-Germain Paris Saint-Germain lost almost 302 million euros as the COVID19 pandemic hit at the beginning of the year. 4) Real Madrid Real Madrid being one of the most successful so soccer club and generating approximately hundreds of million euros yearly lost almost 350 million euros. 3) Liverpool FC Liverpool is at number three in this list with the total loss of 353 million euros. Liverpool got hardly hit by the pandemic and losing this big amounts of money. 2) FC Barcelona Barcelona being one of the most successful football clubs and the in the list of top 5 profitable football clubs in 2019. The Barcelona also made their position in this list with the loss of 366 million euros. 1) Manchester City Manchester City is also a very reputed as well as the one of the oldest soccer clubs. Manchester City was hardly hit by the COVID19 pandemic with the total loss of 412 million euros. We've seen the top 5 football clubs affected by the Corona virus.
