It at least has to be top 3 right? And I am talking the HISTORY of sports...Tiger Woods
Tiger Woods won the Tour Championship this past Sunday for the first time in over 1800 says. Wow. I still remember where I was when his ex wife beat him with the 9 iron and smashed the back window of his SUV that night. No one had EVER seen someone fall from the mountain that he had essentially rebuilt behind Snead and Nicklaus.
Likewise as it turns out, I can't believe how fast he is climbing back up. 9 months ago Tiger Woods was ranked 1,199th in the rankings and now he is ranked 13th with a chance to win the FedEx Cup. I was one of the first and firm believers that said he would make it back, and believe me there was a time this past year right before he turned it on that I was going to throw in the towel. But I never did.
I was actually went as far and said he would win AT LEAST ONE more major before he quit. And that is still my belief today...
Let's look at some of the things that have happened since the last time he won a tournament...
- Lebron James left Cleveland...and came back....and left again.
- The Cubs won a World Series
- Baker Mayfield was walking on at Texas Tech, and is now starting at the Cleveland Browns
- Reggie Bush was still playing football as a Detroit Lion
- The 37 year Triple Crown Drought in Horse racing Ended
- The Seahawks didn't hand it to Beastmode
