Henrik Stenson (Sweden) made it to the third round with a 66 in the second round.

Stenson advanced to the third round by playing in the second round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational (total prize money of $9.1 million) at Bay Hill C&L (par 72, 7419 yards) in Orlando, Florida on the night of July 8.

Stenson, who had five bogeys in the first round and had five over par to make it to the finals, had six birdies without bogey in the second round.

Stenson, who finished the second round with a 6-under 66, tied for 42nd with a one-under 143.

Although he made the cut cheerfully due to his anti-war play, he has no chance to see his caddie Marco Larson, who had been in the first and second rounds together in the third round.

"Unfortunately, he was fired," Stenson said in an interview with the U.S. golf channel.

In the third and fourth rounds, Stenson announced that the former caddie, Fanny Sunson, would play as Caddie, laughing, "She would have thought she would be resting on the weekend, but now she would be saying, 'Oh, I have to go to work!'

The reason why he is able to laugh at the sudden announcement of his dismissal is because he has only three or four rounds left. Stenson's Caddie Marco Larson plays as a caddie for the U.S. children's golf tournament this week, with a 9-year-old son of Stenson.

Stenson's Caddie will be joining Stenson again from next week's Players Championship after spending the weekend with Stenson's son.

Stenson said, "The ball strike is definitely getting better. "I hope I can maintain my momentum here as there are many big competitions ahead," he said. "I'll be with Caddy next week."
