Jan. 31 - Feb. 3 - TPC Scottsdale - Scottsdale, Arizona
This week's tournament takes us to the arid climate of Arizona where defending champ Gary Woodland will return for a chance to bring home the hardware two years running. He'll have to fend off a field of talented players, several of which consistently play at or near the top of their game on this TPC course.
Out of all of those players, one name seems to be on the tip of everyone's tongue this year and it's Hideki Matsuyama. Since 2015, Matsuyama has two wins (2016, 2017) which were preceded by a tie for runner-up in 2015.
Other top names in the field that tend to fare well there include Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson and Rickie Fowler. Will one of the heavyweights go the distance or could someone new emerge from the pack and take down one of the PGA's current titans?
How to play:
- Pick one golfer from the field you think will win the tournament (past winners) (expert picks)
- Make your pick for the final winning score (tournament history)
- Make your pick for the tiebreaker (see below)
- If there is a tie after, awards will be distributed evenly
- Picks lock when the first group tees off, no entries accepted after (tee times)
- Editing your picks will result in disqualification
- Upvote required for picks to be considered
