This looks to be one of the weakest fields all year, but hey there is still contests to play. This will be a Golden Tee event where the winner will north of 20 under par. There are only 2 par 5's on the this course so I am off the long drive guys. I will be targeting players that can hit fairways and have high putting aptitude.

The main stats I am looking at in order are

  1. Par 4 Scoring
  2. Strokes Gained Putting
  3. Strokes Gained Approach

Steve Stricker $8300 - This price is just too cheap for the class of Stricker. He is just outside the FedEx Cup playoffs race so we can be sure he will give a top effort this week. When you think accuracy you think Stricker. He ranks 20th in strokes gained approach and 17th in birdie or better percentage. In a wide open event like this I really want to fade the chalk, but not even I can pass up on such a ridiculous price for the class of the field.

Bronson Burgoon $7400 -  I am throwing out the fact Burgoon missed the cut at this course 2 years ago. This Burgoon and that Burgoon are two very different players. Burgoon sits at 25th in Par 4 scoring. He is 15th in Birdies or better. When he makes the cut these days he is competing. High upside play.

Seamus Power $6800 - Power's putter is on fire this year. 15th in putting on the tour. He also is another golfer just outside the FedEx cup playoffs. Missing the cut here would be a disaster to his chances of making the playoffs. Power always goes under owned and in my opinion he is the safest golfer to make the cut this week.
