Gijón hosted the Women's Handball Gala in which the Spanish Federation presented the awards to the best players of last season as an act prior to the Super Cup, which faces this Saturday (6.30 pm, Teledeporte) 

The league champion Bera Bera and the Copa de la Reina, Liberbank Gijón. The ideal team last season was formed by Renata Lais (goalkeeper), Marizza Faria (central), Carmen Campos (left side), María Prieto (right side), Soledad López (end left), Maitane Etxeberría (far right) and Paula García (pivot). 

In addition, the season was recognized by Ana Isabel Cerqueira chosen as 'best defender', Elena Cuadrado, 'best promise' and Silvia Arderius as the 'best player'. The distinguished list was completed by Robert Cuesta as "best coach" and the "best arbitration partner" David Monjo and Miguel Soria.
