The Superbowl isn't for four more weeks and out here they already started on the Superbowl Specials at the local grocery store. Buy a bucket of chicken made that morning and going soggy and celebrate like a king. Only $10 or something along those lines.
Normally I'd still be reflecting on the World Juniors around this time. There's not much to say about Canada's disappointing performance that @bwar didn't already say here.
Funny thing is, I jumped on Twitter shortly after Canada got the boot. Damn, half the comments were about them being "kids playing for their country". They're 18-19, not 8. Only one 17 year old on Canada's team. They're not kids. Everyone on Twitter is smoking something as is typical of that kind.
Either way, Canada lost to both Finland and the US, the two teams that dominated (impressive show by Russia). Finland took the gold. Impressive leadership by Aarne Talvitie (Devils) and great final goal by Kaapo Kakko.
Not much of a blogger myself but will try and get more posts out, hopefully won't wait until the Draft in June.
