According to CoinDesk's report, Bitmain's mining pool BTC.com announced that it would get mining pool activity for Ethereum and Ethereum Classic.

BTC.com, which claims to have 21 percent of all Bitcoin blocks last year, will present its new mining client on pool.btc.com and will also provide an Ethereum block explorer API.

The service will also allow miners to change their hash power from one pool to another depending on the market.

Bitmain will include the new pools, GPU and CPU mining options at the beginning of this year, while the first mining equipment for the Ethereum mining is on the market.

Bitmain's project manager Zhong Zhuang said that BTC.com might think about opening mine pools for popular crypto-money like Litecoin, Zcash and Monero, with no concrete plans yet.
