India clinched the Kabbadi masters championship in which total six countries participated, by defeating Iran in the final match which was played on 30 June by the score of 44 -26. In the match of two top teams of Kabbadi, Three times world champion India started the match with some dominating runs. India do not give any chance for attack. Captain Ajay Thakur who scored 9 points. He was top scorer of the team.  Monu goyet collected 6 scores for the team. India all outs Iran twice in the match and  got  tremendous victory.

In the first half of the match, electricity supply interrupted unexpectedly so that match stopped for 10 minutes. In second half Iranian captain complained to referee that Indian team playing wrongly but referee denied this. Both of the teams  also faced each other in 2016 Ahamedabad World cup final. On that match, Thakur collects 9 scores, which helps Indian team to become world champion.
