If someone wants to force you to do something, he might grab your hand. Maybe he wants to take you to another place without your consent, he usually grabs your wrist and makes you go with him.

If someone grabs your hand and he does not mean to hurt you pretty bad, you can get out of there out without hurting him. Let's watch this video.

Self Defense

In this video, you see when the guy grabs his wrist, he moves his wrist towards him. He does this with force. You can use your other hand to push the attacker's hand if he grabs your wrist tight. When some random guys come and attack you, they might grab your hands so that you cannot do anything and then punch you.

If you just pull your hands, it might not work. You should know which direction you have to pull your hands with force. Master Wong shows the techniques in this video. I'm going to share another technique that anyone can do.

The thing is, the attacker can be bigger and stronger than you. So when the attacker grabs your wrist, instead of pulling, you can move your wrist in a circle. You see how the guy grabs master wong's hand, right? Now move your wrist outside in a circle.

You have to move your hand against the thumb of the attacker. Your force works against the attacker's thumb. He will not be able to hold your hand anymore even if he is taller, bigger, and stronger than you. Now you attack him or move from there in another way.

If someone grabs your wrist, you can punch him if you want, or you can kick him. Again it all depends based on the situation. Sometimes it is not necessary to hit the guy who grabs your hand.

Sometimes you have to release your hand and counter-attack right away. For example, if some guys attempt to kidnap you, this is serious. So you have to face that situation seriously. You have to make your move to prevent them from kidnapping you. If somehow they are able to kidnap you, you do not know what is going to happen next. And they are in control then.

So whatever you do, your target is to defend yourself and go back home safe. Thank you so much for reading this post. If you are passionate about martial arts and want to learn more about self defense, you can check out some of my recent posts.
