Today we are talking about Kerambit. It is useful for a strike as well as a defense when you fight for self defense. Have you ever heard of Kerambit before?

Kerambit is a small curved knife. It looks like a claw. To learn more about Kerambit, you can read this. There are different martial art weapons. In your martial arts training, you will also learn how to use some of the martial art weapons. Of course, it varies from one martial art to another.

You can fight with empty-handed. The attackers can use different weapons. Well, you can fight, disarm the attacker and take their weapons. For example, someone attacks you with a stick. You can defend his attack and take his stick away from him. Now you are ready to fight with other attackers with the stick in case there are multiple attackers.

So Kerambit is a small knife. What can you do with it? You can do a lot of thing with a Karambit. There is a hole. You can put your finger and grab the knife tight. You can roll the knife and change the position.

You can use it as a defense against the strike or, if the attacker defends your strike, you can use it to attack him again from there. To be good at it, you need to spend time on the practice. You will not be an expert overnight. When you have patience, and train consistently, you can do better.

Stepping and the way they move forward to strike, you can pay attention to that. Your footwork is important to use Kerambit. You can use it close range. When you practice, you can use a Kerambit that is not sharp. Take care of your training partner while training.
