If you stop the attacker in the 1st step, he will not get the chance to move on the second step. Detecting and assessing the situation is the first thing that you can do to keep you and your loved ones safe.

In case you cannot stop the attacker in the 1st step, you have to stop him in the 2nd step. Even if you are not able to do that, you are in the 3rd step, you must do something to stop him, otherwise, you will be in big trouble.

Fight in real life is not a fair fight. So the earlier you take action the better. If the attacker grabs you from behind and he intends to lift you up and take you somewhere else, you have to make you move fast to protect yourself.

First of all, if you see someone or sense that someone is getting close to you from behind, you can move and the attacker will not get the change to grab you. If you do not see that, the attacker can grab you from behind.

The attacker can be stronger and bigger than you. So he will definitely use his strength and power when he attacks you. The moment he grabs you from behind, make little distance between your legs and put your weight down. Now it would be difficult to lift you up even for a bigger attacker.

So what would you do if the attacker has already lifted you up?

The 1st step is not to give the attacker a chance to get close to you from behind. The 2nd step is not to let him lift you up. Now you are in 3rd step. Still, you can stop the attacker and defend yourself. Let's watch this video. This is not my video and all video credit goes to Krav Maga Academy.

In this situation, you can use your one leg and lock the attacker's leg. It makes it difficult for the attacker to move from there by lifting your up. You can use your other leg to attack him. To make this move, you have to lock the attacker's leg first and then strike to get rid of that.
