Never Underestimate Your Opponent - Self Defense
Are you a fighter? Or do you learn martial arts or some self defense? Source If you are a fighter, you participate in a fighting competition, the moment you underestimate your opponent, you will not be as alert as you used to be. So there is a high chance that you will not do very well. Maybe you are a better fighter. You will not give your 100% effort when you underestimate your opponent. When we say never underestimate your opponent in self defense, don't judge the attacker the way he or she looks. Whether the attacker is a man or woman, they can be dangerous. So, don't consider and make a judgment based on size, gender and so on. On the other hand, when you see the attacker is a big and strong guy, and he is attacking a woman, you think the woman does not have a chance to fight back. Learning martial arts or self defense can change the whole thing. You will be more confident when you are prepared and know what to do to defend yourself. Let's watch this video. That girl did very well, didn't she? She learned some self defense before. She practices the movement. And she knows what to do in a situation like this. This is a very vulnerable situation. But still, the attacker will not have a chance if you know what to do. When your life is in danger, you are afraid and you want to defend yourself. You might get freeze for a time being. When you know that stop doing anything will not make this situation any better or maybe it will get worse. You will feel the force inside you. You can use that natural force and strength against the attacker. Think your opponent is better than you and be prepared to face it. Then you will be alert and not lose your guard.
