Choo was the first designated hitter for the New York Yankees and the Korean team at Yankee Stadium in the U.S. on Sunday.

Choo garnered one hit from two times at bat. One hit was a long shot, and two hitpoints were added to a walk and two hit balls.

He was active in cleaning up his slump in August. Choo also had a .143 batting average (three hits in 21 at bats) and a .296 batting average in five games in August. His batting average dropped from 277 to .279 and his base percentage dropped from .389 to .384.

However, the fourth base game showed signs of revival. His batting average rose slightly to 271 and the on-base percentage jumped to 388 points. He also posted a 700-point high.

In the first inning, Choo opened the prelude to the starting line with a hit ball. He failed to score by striking out three consecutive batters. In the second inning of the third inning, Choo was on base for the ball, but there were no additional bases due to the failure of a follow-up hit.

In the fifth inning the bat fired up. In the second and third bases, Choo hit a double in mid-month to bring home all runners. The Texas Rangers chased Choo 3 to 5.

Choo continued his march. In the second inning, Choo picked out four walks. Lugged O'Door's second baseman to third base, but he failed to make it to the home plate.
