In the sixth inning he also got a hit by Chris Bryant in 2, but no major crisis.

Kelly walked Solano in the 7th inning. However, Belt and Casali were hit hard and the inning ended. In the eighth, he struck out two and cleaned up the innings with a triple strikeout.

After a brilliant performance, Kelly was substituted for Taylor Clarke in the ninth with Arizona leading 4-0.
