Main figure: Josh Bell
Manager: Derek Shelton
The Pittsburgh Pirates are stranded in the midst of restructuring their ranks, little by little they have emerged from their important figures and are young talent so that in the future the team can be competitive.
His pitching will be led by Joe Musgrove, who led the team in wins above replacement (WAR) with 3.5 and is expected to have a more dominant season than the previous one. Chris Archer will search for the best version of himself, as we all know the potential that he has not exploited after his great performance with Tampa Bay; Trevor Williams and Mitch Keller will also be part of the rotation while fifth place remains a mystery. As for the bullpen, there is much to work on and demonstrate, because, for the time being, it does not seem to give guarantees.
Offensively, they have Josh Bell, who drove 116 runs in 2019, revealing his power; Young Bryan Reynolds hit .314, demonstrating batting box expertise and intelligence. We can not fail to mention Gregory Polanco, Kevin Newman or the newcomer sprinter, Jarrod Dyson, but beyond that we do not have so much fabric to cut, everything indicates that this team will need a little luck to win the games.
