I am thrilled to announce my 13th Scorum Sports Cast! You can find me @thesportsguru and I will be giving you the best 5-10 minute sports rants here on Scorum every day. On today’s episode, I will tell you about the time when I missed the most historic play in baseball history.

Although I was/am a HUGE Cubs fan, I also really loved the 1988 Los Angeles Dodgers and Orel Hershiser was one of my child hood hero’s. I was playing Little League baseball and tried to mimic his pitching style as he had a 59 inning scoreless streak that year. I had about a 2 inning scoreless streak…

My dad walked into my 5th grade class room a couple days before game 1 of the 1988 World Series and told me he was taking me and my sister on a surprise trip to Las Vegas.

But Las Vegas would not be our final destination. You can listen to the rest of the story now.

I would love to tell you all about it in my new Scorum Sports Cast. To check out my 12th show, just click the play button below. I look forward to hearing your input and comments. Cheers!
