The Saturday matchups for the MLB The Show Players League featured the Detroit Tigers and Arizona Diamondbacks earning 3-1 records to lead their respective divisions, while the Oakland Athletics had the toughest showing, starting out with a 1-3 record.

The Seattle Mariners, Los Angeles Angels and Philadelphia Phillies each had an even start to the season with a 2-2 record.

The Tigers were represented by infielder Niko Goodrum, the Diamondbacks were represented by pitcher Jon Duplantier, the Angels were represented by pitcher Ty Buttrey, the Mariners were represented by pitcher Carl Edwards Jr., the Phillies were represented by first baseman Rhys Hoskins, and the Athletics were represented by pitcher Jesus Luzardo.
