On Wednesday, October 16th, 1912, the Boston Red Sox defeated the New York (now San Francisco) Giants at Fenway Park in Boston to clinch the ninth World Series four games to three, with one tie. It was the second World Series championship for the Red Sox franchise and the first that was won in Massachusetts. These are the top five players that I felt most stood out during the series.
