On Sunday, October 10th, 1926, the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium in New York to win the 23rd World Series four games to three. It was the first World Series championship for the Cardinals franchise and the seventh that was won in New York. These are the top five players that I felt most stood out during the series.
