On Saturday, October 7th, 1933, the New York (now San Francisco) Giants defeated the Washington Senators (now Minnesota Twins) at Griffith Stadium in Washington to win the 30th World Series four games to one. It was the fourth World Series championship for the Giants franchise and the second that was won in the District of Columbia. These are the top five players that I felt most stood out during the series.
