On Sunday, October 9th, 1938, the New York Yankees defeated the Chicago Cubs at Yankee Stadium in New York to win the 35th World Series four games to none. It was the seventh World Series championship for the Yankees franchise and the 11th that was won in New York. These are the top five players that I felt most stood out during the series.
