On Saturday, October 7th, 1950, the New York Yankees defeated the Philadelphia Phillies at Yankee Stadium in New York to win the 47th World Series four games to none. It was the 13th World Series championship for the Yankees franchise and the 16th that was won in New York. These are the top five players that I felt most stood out during the series.
