On Tuesday, October 7th, 1952, the New York Yankees defeated the Brooklyn (now Los Angeles) Dodgers at Ebbets Field in New York to win the 49th World Series four games to three. It was the 15th World Series championship for the Yankees franchise and the 18th that was won in New York. These are the top five players that I felt most stood out during the series.
