On Thursday, October 9th, 1958, the New York Yankees defeated the Milwaukee (now Atlanta) Braves at Milwaukee County Stadium in Milwaukee to win the 55th World Series four games to three. It was the 18th World Series championship for the Yankees franchise and the first (and only) that was won in Wisconsin. These are the top five players that I felt most stood out during the series.
