On Wednesday, October 30th, 2013, the Boston Red Sox defeated the St. Louis Cardinals at Fenway Park in Boston to win the 109th World Series four games to two. It was the eighth World Series championship for the Red Sox franchise, as well as the ninth that was won in Massachusetts. These are the top five players that I felt most stood out during the series.
