On Wednesday, October 30th, 2024, the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium in New York City to win the 120th World Series four games to one. It was the eighth championship for the Dodgers franchise. These are the top five players that I felt most stood out during the series.

Volpe was game four’s player of the game, as he collected four RBIs, three runs, two hits and a walk as the Yankees went on to win 11-4 for their lone win of the series.
3. #18 Yoshinobu Yamamoto (Dodgers)- P
Yamamoto earned player of the game honors for game two, going six and a third innings while allowing just one run, one hit and a pair of walks as the Dodgers scored the 4-2 victory.
