EDMONTON - Free fighting athlete (MMA), Tim Hague was killed on Sunday (06/18/2017), after suffering a knockout defeat in a boxing battle against Adam Braidwood.

Hague, 34, died in hospital after he suffered a knockout defeat after being repeatedly beaten down by Braidwood, former Edmonton Football team player Eskimos, in a bout at the Shaw Conference Center in Edmonton, Alberta Canada.

Despite having undergone brain surgery at the hospital, but Hague's life could not be saved.

Knowing his opponent then died, Adam Braidwood admitted very sorry. "Of course this is not fun for those involved (in death)," Braidwood said. "I want to stay focused on Tim and his family, especially the attention on his son, they are the real victims."

He said he regretted celebrating moments after dropping his opponent in the second round.

"The team wants to keep fighting, that's what we do," he said. "The referee also asked for his ability but the team still wanted to fight," said Braidwood.
