Already a legend in two sports, the man did things some fighters could never even dream of. Before Daniel Cormier became a two time champ just last weekend, one mustn't forget Conor McGregor being the first man to hold two belts at the same time.

The former featherweight and lightweight UFC champion is still regarded as a top 5 pound for pound fighter although he has been inactive for nearly 2 years now. The 'celtic cross' that Conor has delivered unto many a skull is almost as recognizable as the right hand of Chuck Liddell and the footwoork of Muhammad Ali. As I age towards my 30th, I think about all this man has accomplished, and how much left I have to do!

A plumber on welfare in Dublin who trained in his off time... that is the path Conor had to follow early. He was able to transform himself into one of the most famous, and wealthy man on the planet in essence over the course of decade. He became a fighter because that's what he had done his whole life, and on this journey he carried the candor of a man who believed and enacted every thing he said. First round knockout after first round knockout all the while predicting the outcome is what made Conor so special.

He'd think it, he'd say it, he'd do it... Conor McGregor is a special breed unlike anyone we've seen, and anyone we may ever see again. He is an absolute inspiration even when polarizing an entire fanbase. I spent so many years hating Conor because he stormed a sport I loved and decimated the fighters I cheered for. Conor eventually stole my cheers to his side, and at UFC 205, I knew he'd finish Eddie Alvarez and become the first 'champ-champ' in UFC history.

This man broke records, broke the bank, and he broke the world... and he's just hit his prime.
